Meet Jacob Klimchuk! Drummer Age:15 Hailing from Akron, NY
Jacob is a truly amazing drummer! He has been labeled a "Child Prodigy" by many professional instructors and performers. Jacob's metronome like time keeping is a big plus for the band! He was rated in the top five for middle school drummers in NY state in 2006 earning perfect scores on the highest levels allowed for State and County competitions. At just 13 years old Jacob had earned a spot in the area Allstate and all county Jazz ensembles and concert bands twice each! He is also a member of the High School concert band, High School Marching band, Pep Band and High school Jazz Ensemble! Jacob has played with many pro bands ranging from "Country" to "Jazz" as well as "Classic Rock", "Heavy Metal" and "Progressive Rock" Groups. "I Like to play anything with a good feel from 3/4 time to 7/8, 11/4 or anything else that Rocks" says Jacob! Hi: I am Jacob K, I started playing drums when I was eight years old. I like songs such as "Free Bird", "Crazy Train", "Stairway to Heaven", "Hold on Loosely", "Forgotten", and "Pour Some Sugar On Me". Those were some of my favorites groups when I was 12, I have also included to my list of interest the following Bands: Kiss, Avenge 7x Three Days Grace, Dream Theater, Mars Volta and many more. My greatest influences include, "John Bonham" of Led Zeppelin, "Mike Portney" "Gene Krupa", "Buddy Rich" and "Anthony Miranda! of whom I am currently studying with. I have been in several projects over the past 5 years. I have performed in close to 200 live shows and have over 80 hours studio time racked up.
